Wikia Game Guides - Walkthroughs, Tips, and Cheats App Reviews

This app is handy to use when playing games and trying to finish things in Fallout and Skyrim. The app itself is easy to use and can really help dedicated gamers.

Its amazing for getting information on many popular games but some Wikia archives on other games are either lacking or non-existent. Dont get me wrong, the articles are almost always very well written and informative. I just feel like it could benefit from users being able to upload their own parts to the wiki. I understand the problem with that but wikia could just have their site admins check over and monitor the articles. Maybe also by implementing some kind of user trust system, idk. Either way, good all around app. Loads well 99.9% of the time and user-friendly.

Great place for game guides, and its free

Most any page wont load. It just sits there on a black page and wont load any text or images. The one time it does anything is when it wants to load an ad. Otherwise the app barely functions at all.

Great for Easter eggs and finding any sort of item but not really and actual "walk you through it" site

Its a really big help for my gaming life

Sometimes its fun to just go on here and read interesting trivia about your favorite video games. My only problem with the app is when you hit reverse after searching for something and all the options disappear. Doesnt seem to happen as often now.

Its really good

This is a great app if you play a lot of RPGs simultaneously, like I do. This app has seriously detailed info about the games I play the most - games like Fallout 3 and Fallout New Vegas, Skyrim and Oblivion, all of which are huge games. Its fantastic that I can get the info I need about all of these huge games in one app. The only problem Ive noticed is that some of this information - at least parts of it - arent completely accurate. There are a couple of quests Ive done in Skyrim (as well as a few other games including Dragon Age: Inquisition), while trying to use this app as a guide, when Ill come to a part of the guide and it gives me the wrong information. Im not sure why that is, maybe its because of the nature of Skyrim (and RPGs in general, really) - that depending on what you do with your character, certain things change, but for the most part they seemed to have had that covered. Long story short if this happens to you while using this app, just double check it using Google. It seems to be few and far between, these inaccuracies, but can be super irritating when youre in the middle of a long quest line. This is why I give this app 4 stars instead of 5. Still overall a great and useful app, just be careful that youre not getting mislead. :)

THIS IS SO FREAKING AWESOME

Honestly, I use this more for Touhou quick reference, so I havent checked out the other wikis. That being said, the app is well programmed, and the wiki is kept updated.

Not a bad app to have. Its a shame more games arent supported more fully on wiki though.

This app does a great job doing the part of a wiki. Very well laid out and Im able to add multiple games at once.

A decent idea but a lot of newer games arent very up to date maybe works better for RPGs but many communities are incomplete

The app does what it needs to do. It bookmarks wikis and provides easy access to you. The wikis are sorted appropriately, and it shows the thumbnail. Yet there is a prominent dilemma. You cannot contribute to it. You cant even sign in, less post and comment. The only way to contribute is to use the other apps, which support a very limited amount of communities. The ability to sign up and log in would be an idea Id look forward to. It it appears, the app will be rewarded with a higher rating.
